So whether we like it or not the end is coming and on Wednesday and Thursday, were the London photocall and premiere for Deathly Hallows Part 2. And it's just so interesting to see the pictures and how time has passed. 10 years. The trailer is out! I'm really excited and can't believe we're past the halfway point between Parts 1 & 2. I admit it wouldn't be a Harry Potter trailer without the "ooh, that's an interesting change" moment but I was surprised there wasn't like a final spoken line at the end. That is usually the memorable part to me of a HP trailer.

I've been excitedly looking at the promo pictures for Half-Blood Prince as they've been released and one of the latest ones got me thinking.  The scene has Harry looking at a wand in his hands by a desk while Professor McGonagall looks on.  I'm assuming this is after Dumbledore's death and that might in fact be the elder wand Harry is holding.

So apparently WB is splitting Deathly Hallows into 2 movies.

I'm not a fan of the move.

Why would I want to watch half a story?

At least the release schedule is only separated by a 6 months or so.  Would it be too much to ask WB to do a special dvd that had both movies together?

I find it funny that I thought the book was fantastic, and that I have so many thoughts in my head about it, but I haven't been able to put together a few words about it yet outside comments I make on friends journals.
